Muurrung Marai offer school tours to places of cultural significance across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie including Glenrock Lagoon, Pulbah Island, the Watagans, Blackalls Park (Kurra Kurrarn). We will take the students to different locations and provide a rich and knowledgeable experience about the Aboriginal culture of the area and why that location is of particular significance.
The Muurrung Marai “Good Spirit” show is learning language through song & dance. For primary schools, community and public events such as NAIDOC celebrations.
Qualifications
Amos has a number of qualifications along with his experience interacting and mentoring school children
Students should make sure they are all wearing comfortable shoes for walking along with hats and sunscreen on those warmer days. We can seat up to 11 passengers on our tour bus.
